There are some brilliant news items from Australia featuring creches (with parents present) /playgroups held in care homes. This would be a wonderful thing to promote - may not need much money - within the overarching project care homes could act on own initiative.
One of the many links missing in any 'community building' strategy, which lies at the heart of the Frome Community Plan 2008-2028, is an intergenerational element. This project, linking people through their shared passions, has the potential to deliver huge benefits to the Frome community. It reflects Frome's innate gift of creative thinking.
